Kids and Teens
I believe that every child and teenager deserves a safe and supportive space to express themselves and work through challenges. My goal is to provide a caring and understanding environment where young clients can feel comfortable and empowered.
In therapy, children and teens have the opportunity to express themselves, learn about their emotions, and develop valuable coping strategies. In sessions, I utilize engaging techniques tailored to each age group, making sessions both effective and enjoyable. Whether it’s dealing with anxiety, navigating friendships, coping with family changes, or managing academic pressures, I offer personalized support that meets each individual’s unique needs.
I believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with parents and caregivers to ensure a holistic understanding of each child’s experience. Together, we can empower young minds to build resilience, enhance self-esteem, and foster emotional intelligence, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in their everyday lives.
Sessions for children and teenagers are 45 minutes long, sometimes shorter depending on attention abilities. These sessions are $150, sliding scale available. Lower fee spots currently available, contact me if interested. Aetna and Cigna insurance accepted.

How do I know if my child could benefit from therapy?
Most children will benefit from having a safe and supportive space to work through challenges. However, children may particularly benefit from therapy during life changes or shifts (such as moving schools, parents’ divorcing, or the loss of a loved one), or when parents have noticed a change in behaviors. You may have observed your child is unusually irritable or upset, or maybe your child has withdrawn from activities they normally find enjoyable. Physical symptoms such as frequent stomach and head aches and/or difficulty sleeping might signify emotional challenges. If you’ve noticed these changes in your child, I offer a free 15 minute consultation where I would be more than happy to address any questions or concerns you may have. I’m so glad you’re here, and I look forward to talking with you.
